Founded in 1995 by brothers Jonathan and Chris Spano in their great-grandmother’s garage in Long Beach, California, TMI began with just a handful of employees and an unwavering dedication to safety and reliability. By 1999, Jonathan formally joined the company’s leadership, helping to shape its operational foundation as it secured major contracts and established a reputation for innovation and service excellence.

Over the past three decades, TMI has achieved significant expansion milestones, including entering the Bay Area in 2006, completing its first out of state highway project in Detroit in 2008, and supporting major public events and infrastructure movements such as the Space Shuttle Endeavour transport in 2012.
