Traffic Management, Inc. Visits Long Beach Elementary School to Celebrate Safety

TMI Hand-Delivers a Letter to Third Grade Student in Response to a Class Assignment.

Long Beach, CA - Traffic Management, Inc. (TMI®) recently had the privilege of visiting Ms. Turien’s third grade class at Tincher Preparatory School in Long Beach, CA in response to a student’s thoughtful letter to TMI.

Her letter stated:
“Thank you for controlling traffic. I see your logos all the time. You all have a lot of talent and a lot of passion. I really appreciate how hard you all work. Without you all we would not have traffic controlled the way we’d like it to be and maybe even get into accidents.”

In response, TMI’s Co-Founder and CEO Jonathan Spano personally wrote back, thanking her for her kind words. Ms. Turien approved of TMI sending an official traffic controller and EVP of Sales and Marketing Renee Hernandez to deliver the letter, along with some TMI souvenirs for the entire class. As a parting gift for Ms. Turien, TMI’s in-house Sign Shop was able to make an authentic street sign for her to hang in her classroom. An annual tradition for Ms. Turien’s class, TMI was honored to participate in this letter writing assignment.

“It is such a rewarding feeling getting to teach the next generation about how TMI keeps the community safe. I hope today’s event helps them remember to be ‘Serious About Safety,'" Renee said.
